This shit is ridiculous.

That’s meant in the most sincere and respectful way.  Turkish-born German native, Selim Varol is a collector of everything creative - almost to the point of borderline hoarder and freakishly obsessive.

The guy has over 3000 pieces of creativity from over 200 artists - including, KAWS, Fafi, Shepard Fairey, Takashi Murakami, Banksy, DJ Shadow, JR…you get the fucking picture right?

Somehow, The Collectors Room has managed to fit only a fifth of the 15,000 strong collection into their space to showcase for the next few months.

One word to this man, Respect.

Unfortunately, the older we get - the more we tend to dry up inside.  We lose taste for what really matters in life - and what really matters by far is, Creativity.  We forget that colours matter;  that sharing designs are important.

Admiring one’s idea, that has been transformed into a creation shouldn’t be a simple feeling of admiration but something that should trigger something within.

Which is why, we need to realise - that toys, paintings, statues, photos aren’t just for the young-minded and ‘creative’ types. But rather - quite necessary for humans to progress.

I mean, FUCK - can you imagine what we’d be like if we never had any form of toys, paintings or music?
